Words crowd the streets

The nerdiest thing I have ever written

Words crowd the streets,
Spreading on,
Speeding cars,
Yelling with needless rigour,
Even before things unravel,
Words announce
their presence.

A man walks,
runs across a train,
swaying his large club,
"A savage."
Even before he opens
his mouth,
Words ravage him.
But I see....

Dog barks, Cars bolt,
"Dog chased off the car."
Words ravage the car.
But I see.....

Words are center,
Epicenter of old
Commands,
"Don't run"
"Do this"
"Exit"
It goes for a complete,
world wipe,
yet leaves behind,
An incomplete crime.

But I see,
The interstices of words,
A void that repels description,
Every year new word,
New object in a different light,
Yet the interstice stays intact,
Moving yet unmoving,
I call it the gap,
Elusive to sight.
